Where is the truth?


People live in world where it is almost impossible to avoid contact with others. Some contacts are positive, some negative and some seems be great, but at the end it turns to another side. There is a right saying that comes from Stephen King: ‘‘Is it possible to fully know anyone? Even the ones we love the most.’’ Sometimes it happens quickly that when you are talking with a person and you think you have got his loyalty, but not always it is that way. This is a short story about a girl and a boy – so similar and yet different in many ways.
People meet for different reasons, but sometimes it just happens. The particular people had been busy with different things and still finding time to communicate whatsoever it was possible. Interestingly, sometimes it seemed that the boy is so similar to the girl that they had a lot of things common, but on the other way the boy had always reminded a mystery. There was a side that was almost impossible to understand and harder you tried to understand, more complicated it got. Coming from similar backgrounds, having always been different from the ordinary people in various ways, shy and still capable to try doing various entertaining happenings were the basics of their in some way interconnected lives. There were days that each could talk with though whole nights without sleeping, doing school work and still communicating about other topics. They laughed together; they shared sadness about injustice and many more things. Time was sacrificed and with time themes become more and more personal reaching the level of talking basically about everything. Only problem was that the girl didn’t know how much of everything was truth, because from her side everything was truth except one thing – she didn’t say the boy how much she started to like him, because she respected his aims and more important focuses. Sometimes it seemed that there is some more affection, but other times it seemed just like some manipulation with a person to see what he will react on different topics, sentences, etc.

At one time truth had become clearer as it usually happens when the truth is revealed. You can’t lie for forever, because the real you will be seen sooner or later. The story of a girl that had never meant to be ended with the acknowledge that a boy tells to different people different things and during the time of conversations there were at least one other girl he was talking with still stated that the other person is the most annoying he has ever met. Now he is spending more time in real life with her in a short period of time than the girl that tried to be conservative and respectful in almost two years. It is a good lesson learned in life – no matter how much and about what you talk with a person, he always lies something. Also disappointments lead to broken ability to trust other people. Keeping the distance and not opening to people is the best action you can take as then it is harder to get hurt and disappointed. You can never know how much a person can hurt you until he does. Life goes full circle - you get hurt and later you can hurt somebody without even a purpose. The same is with lies.
