A dream: challenging forest

It's an early evening. The sunbeams are seen through large trees. Beside is my family and some people I don't know at all. There is some wind in the sky and as it is the beginning of winter, I can't help myself and I'm just stopping after short while to take some photos. I have a usual one, small digital camera, but my mother is carrying my SLR camera, which doesn't seem logical to me, but also with this camera pictures look pretty good and that's all I need.
With time some of group went forward and after a while we couldn't see them anymore. I know that my sister is a good leader so they will be just fine. With time it got darker and darker. I could feel that there was some danger in the air as the forest didn't seem that friendly anymore. We needed to hurry. First problem I saw was not only that it started to get heavy to walk that much without stopping, but that there was a swamp in front of us. The fear was rising in the system, but there was no way back and we knew that the other team has already made it so how bad it can be? The answer was that it could be really bad. There was a tiny bridge where you couldn't even stand on one feet and it was all the time moving. You needed to lie down to be able to move somehow further. I tried to do it as fast as possible without looking back. I knew that falling down means dying and if it is up to life or death, it makes you stronger and more determined not to make any mistakes. However, I still looked down into the swamp. Just for a second, but a second was enough to see some darker shadow moving not that deep. I thought that it must be a really big fish despite knowing that fishes living in swamps would be pretty rear and they wouldn't be that big. At the end there was just some rope that meant that to get past that you need to jump and as I was small, it was risky, but I also knew that there is no other option. This made me also not to think about what I saw in the swamp and I was finally on much bigger spot where you could sit with everyone else. It was like a space for some break, because in front there was some tricky ladder that were swinging and at the end there were just some straight wood with parts already in a swamp. At the end there weren't anything meaning that you should jump and I was always scared if your jump would be too close. After a while we all gathered in the spot and that meant that the challenge wasn't that hard. We started to wander about when we will reach others, but then I clearly saw the back of an alligator. Fear collapsed my speaking and thinking abilities.

Others tried to think positive that there was no way that they could jump on us. After a while a felt sudden pressure on my shoulder and neck. The people around me were screaming and I knew what was the thing. Interestingly, the alligator was holding me in a clutch and I could just feel some of his teeth getting deeper through my flesh. Some people were trying to scare the beast away and after some moments I finally could touch my neck. There were some holes and there was a feeling of warm liquid running down my arm. I knew that it was blood, but I was too shocked to feel pain. Luckily we had some additional scarf so I could band it over my neck. We needed to keep going and so we did. I was again the first as I was the youngest. Now fully clearly you could see alligators moving all around in the dirty water. When I got to the last wooden boards where at least some part was above the water, I saw that there was at least 5 feet until the shore which seemed full of water plants. That meant that water there could be much more. I was afraid to the highest level, but there was no way back. I jumped as far I could and then started to swim which I never fully could. In times like this you get some new abilities and somehow my legs started to feel the some mud beneath me. As long as I didn't sank in, it was good enough for trying to run. Surprisingly even my mother made it and we were again on some forest road. This time I wasn't thinking anymore about taking some photos, but getting out of the place as fast as possible and before the night comes. Who knows what kind of experiences a night could bring...
