Observations are made mostly based on what was seen in a village

To eat a dessert with the other side of fork or spoon is normal
-          Whenever you see someone you should say Bonyour! with an uprising tone even if you don’t know them
-          Kissing is normal not only for good friends, but also working colleagues and other people you get in touch (talking, spending time) on the daily bases
-          Popular replay is next week which in most of the cases is similar to never or not soon
-          Always be polite and smile even if you are angry and want to kill someone (suppressed real emotions, fakeness)

-          Leaving bikes wherever without watching over is good as they doesn’t get stolen
-          Leaving the home without locking the doors (for workers) is normal as people doesn’t steal
-          Asking something in English and hoping for some replay in the same language is pretty weak hope
-          Even the menus of different electronic devices tend to be in French
-          Going to a concert and hoping for some English songs is a weak hope due to the fact that French love their language , are conservative and not West-driven (however, you can get some English shouts like Let it be Las Vegas here!; Burn out)
-          Small talks are highly appreciated
-          Limited internet not only in parks, bars and other public places, but even Airports etc. (usually 30 min. free, later needs to pay)
-          It is normal that highway doesn’t have any lights and the signs doesn’t have a reflective edges

-          When French are angry, they still manage to use words please and sorry
-          French like to pretend that they doesn’t know English so that they wouldn’t need to speak it
-          Asking how you are doing is an usual phrase they use to start a conversation or make it clear that they have noticed you, but actually they doesn’t care at all
-          French will try to help you when they will see that you will have a need for that presuming it as a part of an obligation
-          Men love suits (mostly classy black with a white shirt), even those workers who shouldn’t be in suits.
-          Many look like having used sundeck as their tan doesn’t look natural
-          Around 80% of the seen French have black or dark brown hair
-          Smiling is a part of everyday use so it doesn’t mean anything special and doesn’t say their real mood, attitude and intentions
---          It is normal not to have an internet and not to know what is happening in the world
-          If someone doesn’t want you to be somewhere you are, they will make the best excuses to make you leave, e.g., some guests are coming, it is not a place for workers, but you can use some other place which is not suitable for you
-          Usual talks among workers are about other workers, daily duties and some fails others make when sitting around, many like also to tease and make jokes about others just for fun
-          If a person isn’t smiling at all and being serious French think that he is sad or not in a good mood
-          Part of French politeness is saying merci wherever possible (e. g., when getting some information, after pouring a water)
-          Colorless and tasteless yoghurt is called natural, but in Latvia it is called kefir

… to be continued…
