Kad vienkāršība pārtop par iedomību, nav vairs daudz par ko runāt, patiesībā - tās ir draudzības un visa pārējā beigas. Konkurence un izaugsme ir labas lietas, taču ne tad, ja pavērstas pret sabiedrotajiem cīņā. Draugi nesalīdzina viens otru ar mērķi pazemot vai justies pārākam tikai tāpēc, ka viņš to var.

Kaut vai tikai uz stundu, bet tik un tā ja tā izdara vairāki tūkstoši cilvēku, tas ir varens spēks. Rīgā, kā ierasts, to, ka tika izslēgta gaisma, varēja vislabāk novērot 11. Novembra krastmalā.  Gaisma izdzisa Dzelzceļa tiltam, Vanšu tiltam, Saules akmenim un dažādām citām ēkām un uzņēmumiem, piemēram Latvijas Nacionālajā operā. Bija cilvēki, kas to ievēroja, kas pagāja vienaldzīgi garām, un arī tādi, kas to fiksēja, lai vēlāk vēstījumu izplatītu daudz plašākā mērogā. Lai gan notika pāris ar kultūru saistīti pasākumi (vairāk ar mūzikas klātbūtni), daudz ievērojamāk būtu, ja cilvēki vienotos kopīgi nolikt svecītes ar „60” simbolu vai ko līdzīgu. Arī palaist laternas var piesaistīt vairāk cilvēkus. Tā jau ir kļuvusi par tradīciju citās valstīs. Interesanti...
